In terms of background music (BGM) played during the video, we will have to make sure that rights to use copyrighted material are secured or alternatively use copyright free material from websites such as audiolgfl.com, which we have used previously for other media units; for example in Unit 46 and 43, for our Film Trailer and Television Segment.
Jose and Phil are both being interviewed in the show at their requests, and have also themselves asked MC Franz Von if he'll be up for being interviewed on camera to which he agreed.
The age certificate of the film will have to be considered as some of the content features language that may offend in the Hip Hop songs, as well as a freestyle by Jose which features a swear word. This means if the show is to be broadcast over Sheffield Live TV then it will have to be past 9'oclock which is the watershed given by regulatory body OFCOM. In my opinion, the video should be rated a 12A; The BBFC's Guidelines state that strong language (e.g. 'f***') may be passed at 12 or 12A, depending on the manner in which it is used, who is using the language, its frequency and any special contextual justification.

Application for the use of copyrighted music
As we are planning for the use of copyrighted music from artists such as Gang Starr, I sent this email to different record labels requesting for the right to use music in our video. They didn't reply, but from previous experience wiring with copyrighted music in other projects; as long as we give all credit to the labels and artists in the video then we will be okay as the video is only for educational/promotional purposes.
Sheffield Live! and its radio show, Urban Expression already own a PRS license to play this type of music and because the video is for the program; we should be able to justify the use of the music due to the clients ownership of such a license.

Use of Music
These tracks were requested by Jose Spinola for use in the video:
"C.R.E.A.M." - Wu-Tang Clan
(from Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers - courtesy of Loud Records)
"What I'm Here 4" - Gang Starr
(From Moment of Truth - Courtesy of Noo Trybe/Virgin/EMI Records)
"Survival of the Fittest" - Mobb Deep
(From The Infamous - Courtesy of Loud Records)
"UK Riot Report" - Franz Von (Courtesy of Franz Von)
As we are not using the music for commercial purposes (i.e. to earn money or claim the music as our own) and will give full credit to the record labels and artists' tracks we will use in the edit; we should be fine with utilising the tracks in our video.
Urban Expression will be uploaded to YouTube, who target videos that are in breach of copyright law. If they have an issue with our video, they are able toget in contact with us and request for what reason we are using the video. As I established in the video description:

All credit goes to the respective record labels and artists.
