LO 1: Urban Expression - Introduction

Throughout this unit, we will be undertaking the production process of an audio visual media product; creating an promotional video for a Sheffield Live! radio show, Urban Expression. This involves working closely with the show's presenters, Jose Spinola and Phil Robinson who will host the piece. The two presenters are also our Clientele, who will use our work to promote their show. They will have the greatest influence on the content of the video while we (the production team) will be manufacturing all pre-production materials, filming and editing all footage.

Urban Expression features the best of cultured hip hop underground music, local and international hits from unsigned artists, old and new school. The video aims to advertise to audience members and encourage them to tune into Urban Expression on Sheffield Live!

The production team consists of myself (Jake Dungworth), Lewis Leversidge and Will Hewitt. My primary roles are as cameraman, cinematographer and editor through the main production phases. I am also tasked with creating location recces for each film shoot and other tasks as detailed on the pre-production materials post.
